Hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro located in Avenida Vieira Souto in the heart of Ipanema beach, the long awaited Hotel Fasano combines the sophistication of Rio's most coveted address with modernity and efficiency in design and service.
Fasano Rio is the first project designed entirely from scratch by Philippe Starck, from the 50's and 60's style furniture to the vintage uniforms designed exclusively for the hotel by Ocimar Versolato, everything has been thought out to reverberate the glorious Bossa Nova era, when Ipanema was blossoming into the most charming neighborhood of Rio.
The hotel caters to both leisure and business travelers and offers the latest technology in its accommodations and meeting rooms.
Rooms and Suites
Everything in the 91 rooms, from the layout of the room to delicate choice of amenities was thoroughly thought out to enhance the experience of the guests.
All rooms are decked in sumptuous hardwood floors and Starck's Dali-Esque ear-shaped mirrors and furnished with elegant Sergio Rodrigues chairs.
Philippe Stark strategically positioned the king size beds, all covered in 300-count Egyptian cotton sheets and white goose down pillows at a slight incline that not only contributes to a laid-back ambiance but most notably follows the horizon, maximizing the ocean view.
A 32 inch LCD screen TV with cable and workstation fully equipped with wireless internet are available to guests in addition to a wireless telephone that may be utilized in all hotel facilities.
All rooms posses private balconies that are separated by mirrored screens.
