Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge Iquitos Is exquisitely set in a tropical garden with flowering trees and plants that attract multitudes of hummingbirds and butterflies of every imaginable color.
Located just 20 miles / 30 km from the city of Iquitos on the Sinchicuy River, it's an excellent getaway for a one or two nights stay, and can be combined with a stay at the Tambo Yanayacu Lodge.

Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge has become home to a few orphaned jungle creatures such as woolly monkeys and saddle backed tamarinds that you may see climbing through the trees or roaming freely on the grounds. They also enjoy the company of humans a great deal! Along the riverbank you'll find our hammock hut, and benches for relaxing and bird watching, or glimpsing Morpho Butterflies flashing their blue iridescence as they cross the river, and disappear into the green forest. The intimate dining room is a gathering place for interesting world travelers from all over the world.

Each of the 32 rooms has a private shower and bathroom, and can accommodate 1 to 4 guests. Kerosene lanterns light your room and are scattered along the wooden walkways providing a romantic glow, illuminating the night.

Activities include leisurely natural history walks, visits to native communities, fishing, early morning birdwatching, canoing, night hikes, and excursions in search of the mysterious pink river dolphin.
