Day 1 - Tue, Feb 17th 2009– Arrival in Fortaleza, Brazil
Reception in Fortaleza airport and transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 2 - Wed, Feb 18th 2009– Mundau Beach, Brazil
Today we will take a Tour to Mundau Beach.
Located 140 km from Fortaleza on the western coast, Mundau Beach has a long extension of white sands surrounded by fish filled coral reefs.
Guests can also take an optional catamaran tour, that starts on the sea and finishes in
the river (additional cost).
There is also a delightful restaurant and charming bar where guests can sip a refreshing cocktail or eat a delectable meal.
Return to Fortaleza at arround 6:00 pm.

Day 3 - Thu, Feb 19th 2009– Fortaleza, Brazil
Day at your leisure to enjoy the wonders of Fortaleza.
Afternoon transfer to the airport for your next flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 4 - Fri, Feb 20th 2009– Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Reception at the Galeao International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, assistance with your baggage and private transportation to your hotel.
Early check in will be requested but will only be provided if available at check-in.

Day 5 - Sat, Feb 21st 2009 – Full day Tour with BBQ lunch
Here in Rio de Janeiro, one of the happiest city in the planet you will enjoy a few days with sun, beaches, beautiful people all around, great hotels, restaurants, delicious food and the unique warmth of the Cariocas.
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the Cosme Velho railroad station, crossing over to the traditional residential district of that same name. You will disembark and take a cogwheel train that will ride you up the 710 meters to the statue of Christ. To reach the top of Corcovado Hill, the train crosses the largest urban forest of the planet.
The Tijuca Forest is located at the heart of Rio de Janeiro and it separates the South and North zones of the city. The 20-minute ride gives you just enough time to prepare yourself mentally for what is waiting at the top. In the meantime, enjoy the lush scenery and take in some of that fresh mountain air of the Tijuca Forest.
We will continue visiting Sugar Loaf, in the Urca district, on the way back towards Copacabana. The cable car trip is in two stages: The first goes to Urca Hill, 220 meters high, and then a short walk to the other side leads you to the second station for the next part of the ride, up to the top of Sugar Loaf itself. The top of Sugar Loaf, 396 meters high, has been landscaped and includes several pathways and a bar.

Day 6 - Sun, Feb 22nd 2009 – Rio de Janeiro First Carnival Parade
The Brazil Carnival Party really starts today.
On Sunday the first Carnival Parade will take place, filling out the Sambodrome with thousands of visitors and locals willing to experience the most attractive and colorful celebration on Earth.
At around 5 P.M you will be transferred from your hotel to the Sambodrome. Where you will find your pre-reserved seats.
Enjoy this full night of party, celebration, color, music and dance with the presentation of some of the most famous Samba Schools.
At around 4 to 5 in the morning your transfer will be ready to take you back to the hotel.

Day 7 – Mon, Feb 23rd 2009 – Rio de Janeiro Second Carnival Parade
Today Monday will take place the Second Parade of Samba Schools for Rio Carnival 2009.
At around 5 P.M you will be transferred from your hotel to the Sambodrome. Where you will find your pre-reserved seats.
A night full of party, celebration, color, music and dance with the presentation of some of the most famous Samba Schools.
At around 4 to 5 in the morning your transfer will be ready to take you back to the hotel.

Day 8 – Tue, Feb 24th 2009 – Leisure day in Rio de Janeiro Carnival
After a full weekend of party, relaxing at the beach sounds like a great plan.
Enjoy Ipanema and Copacabana Beach, take the Rio de Janeiro Sun, taste the Carioca’s flavors in the many restaurant options you will find.
Just relax and have fun, you are in the Rio de Janeiro Carnival 2008.

Day 9 – Wed, Feb 25th 2008 – Flight from Rio de Janeiro back Home.
Time to go back home.
Free morning at your leisure and late afternoon transfer to the Galeao Airport for your flight back home.
